The simulator driver has been developed to generate simulated values. The values behaviours that can be simulated are sine wave, square wave, saw tooth, triangle wave and random values. The tags can be set up to have a different wave length, type and can be polled at a definable rate. The simulated values work on the following principles.
The amplitude is the maximum value of the simulated value. If the amplitude of a sine wave is 1 and its offset is 0, the maximum value will be 1 and the minimum value will be -1.
The Period is the time, in seconds, from one waveform peak to the next.
