@aGlance Server Overview

The @aGlance/IT server driver module DM_AAG_SERVER enables IDX to operate as an @aGlance/IT Server serving either live or historical plant data to any @aGlance/IT aware client application. Please refer to the Intuitive Technology Corporation web-site for an up to date list of @aGlance/IT client applications. IDX is therefore able to operate as a gateway between any SCADA or DCS system and make them "@aGlance/IT Server" enabled.

Note:

The programming model for @aGlance/IT precludes the same application from being simultaneously enabled as both a client and a server. It is therefore not possible to enable both DM_AAG_SERVER and DM_AAG_CLIENT within the same instance of iDX. It is however possible to run multiple copies of IDX on a single machine to overcome this limitation.\`
